Frequently Asked Questions
Who are those people on your homepage?
A: I do not know, but I like the picture. There is something about stock business photos that I really enjoy, and you got to love that planet earth globe, it is really fitting for intlcitizen.com.
Who is Ronaldo?
A: Ronaldo is a fictitious post-Medieval, pre-Renaissance Italian painter. He was well versed in languages, the latest cutting edge science, and the culinary arts. Ronaldo long warned medical practitioners that blood letting was not an effective form of treatment. He also forewarned explorers that it was foolish to rely on maps that featured a flat earth. In fact, he was so influential that Michaelangelo attributes much of his inner creative drive to the inspirational musings of Ronaldo.
What is the point of this website?
A: Its a compilation of all my creative/artistic interests ranging from painting, to writing, cooking, and travel. Robots are showcased because the Robotitry Tour is the most comprehensive art project I have ever worked on.
Yeah, what’s up with the Robots?
A: Robots are an expression of my reaction to technology's advances. I am a child of the 1980s. I grew up with Star Wars, ET, Back to The Future, Robo Cop et al. During my lifetime I have witnessed how technology has changed all matters of life. At this stage I have serious luddite proclivities such as continuing to use a VHS, cassette tapes, and two turntables and a microphone. Science fiction has always been a fascination of mine because of its philosophical undertones, Robotitry is my contribution. I am starting with paintings, I made a movie, and am working on science fiction short stories.
Great, are your Robot paintings for sale?
A: No, I have big “plans” for the Robots, the last of which is parting with them. All other art is for sale, subject to availability.
Wow, whats your master plan?
A: I am taking the robots on a global tour to places that I think are relevant. I want to go where landscapes seem like they are from another world, like Iceland, and to places where people really respect robots, like Tokyo. Other planned stops on the Robotitry Tour include Astana Kazakhstan, Area 51 Roswell New Mexico and Rochester, New York.
Why Rochester New York? Do people like Robots there?
There is no major robot connection besides Its where I grew up. Its a lovely town that is the birthplace of photography, the garbage plate, Country Sweet chicken wings, and me. This will be the final destination for the Robotitry Tour. Robotiry paintings will go on sale in Rochester. All other stops will be for show only. In the meantime, please buy some paraphernalia.
